About the book
"The Gravedigger" is a dark tale about death, memory, and the uncertain boundary between what has happened and what may exist only as a creation of the mind.
At the center of the story is Mark Terri, a character drawn into a world where death is not simply the end of a life, but the beginning of a series of questions that refuse to settle. Alongside him appears Artemida and a strange, haunting place known as the “Meadow of Death,” where the past, memories, and the present become intertwined in unexpected ways.
The Gravedigger is not concerned only with what happens after death. It turns instead to the way the living experience loss, how they keep those who are gone alive through memory, and how memory itself can reshape a story each time it returns.
With its dark atmosphere and sense of mystery, the novel places the reader in a world where the grave is not always the place where a story ends. Some stories continue long after the people who lived them are no longer there to tell them.
"The Gravedigger" is a story about the dead, but above all, about those who remain behind; about what we remember, what we forget, and what, despite everything, we can never truly bury.
